Zempire Camping Launch One of the World's Most Portable Luxury Air Tents
Zempire Camping, renowned for pioneering outdoor and camping gear, proudly introduces its latest innovation: the Aerospeed Series, a new benchmark in portable air tents. This groundbreaking range marks a significant leap forward in the company’s 16-year history of crafting premium air tents, featuring models for 4, 6, and 10 persons.
The flagship 'Aerospeed 4' stands out as one of the world’s most portable luxury air tents, boasting a spacious, head-high interior that allows campers to move freely. Remarkably lightweight at just 9.75kg (21.5lb) and rolling into a compact carry bag, it sets a new standard in convenience without compromising on comfort or durability.
Designed for the US camping market and rigorously tested in New Zealand, Zempire CEO and Founder Richard Knauf expresses enthusiasm about the Aerospeed Series’ potential global impact:
"Recognizing the importance of pack size to both US and Australian campers, we aimed to redefine convenience without sacrificing the robustness and spaciousness of our renowned air tents. Our new Aerospeed Series delivers all the benefits of air tent technology in a highly portable package. Ideal for smaller vehicles and campsites with limited access, we expect these tents to appeal to a broader audience across all our markets."
Zempire's Aerospeed Air Tents feature rapid inflation technology and robust construction for hassle-free setup and exceptional wind stability. Inflation takes under 2 minutes using the included pump, and each tent includes front and rear doors for easy access and improved ventilation. Additionally, the tents incorporate two aluminium brow poles to maximize internal space, while their compact shoulder-strap bags facilitate easy transportation and storage.
A standout feature of the Aerospeed Series is Zempire’s ‘Dura Core’ ripstop polyester fabric, which is not only durable and solution-dyed but also highly fade-resistant with minimal environmental impact due to low water usage. Knauf outlined the fabric underscores Zempire’s commitment to sustainability without compromising on strength and longevity.
“Our Aerospeed range are the first tents to feature Zempire's new Dura-Core fabric. Dura-Core uses solution dye technology where the threads are produced in the correct colour eliminating the need for a dying process. This dramatically reduces water use and environmental impact during manufacture, resulting in a much more UV resistant and stronger fabric at a reduced weight.”
After taking direct control of US distribution earlier this year, Zempire aim to enhance the American camping experience by introducing its ground-breaking air tent technology, with the Aerospeed Series at the forefront. In the US, Zempire’s new Aerospeed Air Tents are available from outdoor retail giant REI this month and will become available in Australia through www.zempire.au and select retail partners this spring.
"We are excited to introduce our Aerospeed Air Tents to the US market through REI stores this month and to Australians in a few months time." Knauf added. "The response from REI staff has been exceptional, and we look forward to enhancing camping experiences with our innovative technology."
