Zempire launch new camping furniture range

Zempire have launched three new tables and three entirely new designs. Zempire CEO and Head of Product Richard Knauf is keen to see how the new tables are received given the comprehensive product design process, saying:

“We researched materials used in the building industry in New Zealand because we wanted to bring that premium durability to the camping industry, however we knew it needed to be lightweight to appeal to both new and seasoned campers. We have achieved both with our new Hexolites and look forward to seeing them stand the test of time for years.

We’ve always wanted to produce a Zempire fridge stand, but we took it one step further with our Stealthpac 95 in that you can also use it as a coffee table. We envision it being a product that expert campers really get behind, since it packs down small and they have the choice on how they prefer to use it.”

Taking inspiration from New Zealand’s building industry, the new ‘Hexolite Series’ includes two entirely new tables – the Hexolite 160 and Hexolite 80. Named after their lightweight characteristics and length dimensions (160cm and 80cm), the new Hexolite Tables feature an ultralight honeycomb core with the Hexolite 80 weighing a mere 4.75kg. The Hexolite 160 is the largest table Zempire have ever created, so weighing in at only 8.3kg is impressive given its large open size. Both tables feature a fully waterproof and heat resistant tabletop surface which can withstand up to 200°C, making them ideal for cooking, food prep and general use outdoors.

The Hexolite Series feature a new extruded aluminium frame to give a higher weight capacity and more resilience to adverse weather. A truly level surface is always attainable with individual leg adjustments that can alter the table’s height to anywhere from 60-90cm on the Hexolite 160 and 53-83cm on the Hexolite 80. A max height of 90cm on the Hexolite 160 is rare, so this table is perfect for taller campers to prep food and cook on. Zempire have also added wide base pivoting feet, making the Hexolite Tables more stable on softer ground and they also include a built-in bottle opener. The Hexolites are some of the most durable and lightweight tables Zempire have ever produced, perfect for car camping to campervanning and almost anything in-between. The final entirely new table from Zempire is the innovative, dual-purpose Stealthpac 95. This clever camping essential can be either set up as a coffee table or a fridge/cooler stand, with a max weight capacity of 110kg when holding fridges and coolers.

With ideal coffee table dimensions of 46cm (height) and 95cm x 50cm (surface length x width), the Stealthpac 95 is equipped with an easy fold tabletop, crafted from both aluminium and natural bamboo. It boasts an extruded aluminium frame (patent pending) for increased stability; however the real weight performance is proven when the included stabilisation poles are easily clicked into place to use as a fridge stand.

Packing down small into a dual pocket carry bag and weighing only 5kg, the Stealthpac 95 can be used for a huge range of camping adventures. For more info on the Stealthpac 95, see here.

Finally, Zempire have upgraded and increased the range of the Megadome camping lights. The new range has four new lights: the Megadome 1000, Megadome 500, Megadome 300 and Megadome 150, each named after their max lumen output. The Megadome 1000 is Zempire's most powerful lantern, with a smooth table lamp style, designed to brighten up large tents and outdoor spaces. Its smooth wooden bamboo base sits firm on surfaces and pairs nicely with Kitpac tables.

The three remaining Megadomes all feature a new easy slide hook system which can be simply adjusted and locked into place for hanging at different heights. With its micro-size, the Megadome 150 is guaranteed to be a hit with kids, travellers and hikers as it can be taken almost anywhere.
